I am going to make this Weekend Reflection post short because I have a very busy weekend ahead of me.
This weekend my husband and I are going to a thing called Retrouvaille. It is basically a retreat set up by the Catholic Church for married couples who are close to splitting up. It is supposed to help heal your marriage. My husband and I do not have the happiest marriage so hopefully this will help.
When you have financial difficulties like we have had it is hard on a marriage. We lost our home back in Wisconsin. Chris and I have been out of work for some time now and the bills and debts keep piling up. A lot of marriages split up due to finances. I don’t want ours to be part of those statistics.
The kids will be with Grandma and Grandpa this weekend while mom and dad work on their marriage. I am doing this for my kids. I will be back to post again on Monday.

I hope the weekend helps you and your husband! Sometimes just spending some time away without the kids can be helpful.>>I can definitely relate to money problems…my husband has been out of work for over a year, and I am trying to get disability. So we struggle each month with money. I hope you and your husband can work things out between you!>>Here’s my blog, if you care to stop by sometime: http://www.mad-about-kids.com

All the best for a happy family! I’ve been married for 18 yrs and I have my share of financial woes. We got through the tough times, luckily it didn’t last as long as our marriage. 🙂
